What it covers
Custom Entertainment Centers & Media Walls
Your living room should reflect how you live — not a tangle of cables and mismatched furniture. We design and build custom media centres that turn the entertainment wall into the most striking feature in the room. Every unit is built to your exact wall dimensions, TV size and equipment lineup.
We have installed built-in entertainment centres across Manatee and Sarasota counties — from floating TV walls in Lakewood Ranch condos to floor-to-ceiling walls with electric fireplaces in Bradenton family rooms. Design, fabrication and installation are all in-house.
What sets them apart is the precision: the wall is measured to the millimetre, the design is built around your specific TV and AV stack, every cable is routed out of sight and every component cabinet is properly ventilated.
What we build
- Custom TV wall units
- Floor-to-ceiling entertainment walls
- Electric fireplace surrounds

How it works
The media centers process
- 01
In-home design consultation
We measure the wall precisely, assess your TV size and AV equipment, and talk through style. It is free and takes about an hour.
- 02
3D design & approval
A full 3D rendering — finishes, hardware, lighting, fireplace placement, cable routes — so you see exactly what you are getting before a board is cut. Revisions are included until it is right.
- 03
Professional installation
Our own crew handles cabinetry installation, TV mounting, cable concealment, fireplace insert fitting and LED lighting. Most installs are completed in one to two days.
Built-in entertainment centres for Gulf Coast homes
Rather than a store-bought unit that almost fits your wall, we build something that belongs there: flush to the ceiling, wall-to-wall if you want it, with every shelf and cabinet exactly where you need it.
Popular choices on the Gulf Coast include clean white lacquer for coastal homes, warm wood tones for traditional interiors, and two-tone designs with dark lower cabinets under lighter upper shelving. Every wall includes proper component ventilation, hidden wire management and reinforced TV mounting rated for your specific display — from 55" to 100" and beyond.
Fireplace surrounds & feature walls
One of the most common requests is a media centre with an electric fireplace: a built-in wall unit framing the TV above the insert, flanked by glass-front display cabinets and accent lighting.
We work with all the major electric insert brands and design the surround to suit — recessed inserts with flush tile or stone, raised hearths with floating mantels, or full-width fireplace walls running floor to ceiling. Electric inserts are particularly suited to Florida because you get the visual warmth without heating the room.
Premium features & finishes
Standard on every unit: soft-close hinges and drawer slides, full-extension drawers and cable channels routed behind the wall. Upgrades include touch-activated LED accent lighting, interior-lit glass-front cabinets, adjustable shelving, wine cooler compartments and power outlets hidden inside the component cabinets.
Finishes span bright whites, warm off-whites, colour matching to your walls, natural wood grains, two-tone combinations and high-gloss lacquers. We bring samples to the consultation so you can see them in your own lighting.

Media Centers questions
If yours isn't here, phone us. We would rather answer it now than have you wonder about it for a week.

(941) 242-1452Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm. Or come and ask in person at the Bradenton showroom — 8007 34th Ave E, Bradenton, FL 34211.
Ask a designer01What size TV can you build around?
Any size from 55" upwards, including 100"+ displays. The mounting is reinforced and rated for your specific TV, and the surrounding cabinetry is designed around its exact dimensions rather than a generic opening.
02Can you hide all the cables?
Yes. Cable channels are routed behind the wall and every component cabinet is ventilated, so soundbars, receivers, consoles, cable boxes and streaming devices all get a properly cooled home out of sight.
03Can you include an electric fireplace?
Yes — it is one of the most requested features. We work with all the major electric insert brands and design the surround around the model you choose, whether that is a recessed insert with a flush stone surround or a full-width floor-to-ceiling fireplace wall.
04How long does a media centre installation take?
Most are completed in one to two days, including cabinetry, TV mounting, cable concealment, fireplace fitting and lighting.

We contacted Dream Closets to provide us a design and quote for a large master bedroom closet. From the first contact to the installation, the service was excellent. The design was exactly what we wanted and the quality of the materials is very good. The installation team was professional, clean and efficient. I highly recommend Dream Closets!
Josiah designed 3 custom closets for us! He was incredibly responsive, very easy to work with and did a beautiful job with installation. We got several other quotes from other companies and they were almost double the cost and weeks out for install. Josiah was able to order and install within a couple of weeks.
My wife and I recently had a wall unit installed in our living room. Dealing with Dream Closets was a very good experience from start to finish. Josiah was very professional and easy to work with in the design phase and did a great job with the installation. We are very pleased with the final product and highly recommend Dream Closets.
Josiah was great to work with. He came to the house, measured our pantry and listened to what we were looking for. He sent us a few designs and we picked exactly what we wanted. When the cabinets came in, he installed them quickly and efficiently. We love our new pantry!!
I hired Dream closets to design and install closets for two bedrooms in my condo. Josiah was very prompt for our initial meeting. We discussed my needs and he made some very good suggestions. I received the quote and drawings the next day. The installation was scheduled and went flawlessly. The quality of the materials and the installation was excellent. I highly recommend Dream Closets.
Josiah is named by name in four of these five. That is not an accident — the person who designs your closet is the person who installs it.

A reach-in refit starts here. A full walk-in dressing room is quoted from your drawing.
20% down, the balance spread — so the closet does not wait for the budget.
Most closets go in inside a single day, by our own crew, packaging taken away.
What moves the price
- Linear feet, not square feet. A closet is priced by how much wall you are filling and how tall you take it, not by the floor area of the room.
- Drawers. A drawer bank is the single biggest line item in most closets — boxes, runners and fronts all cost more than an open shelf.
- Doors and glass. Solid fronts add cost over open shelving; glass and reeded glass add more again.
- Lighting. LED shelf and rod lighting means a driver, a switch and sometimes an electrician, so it is quoted separately.
- Islands and seating. Beautiful, and the thing most likely to move a walk-in from mid four figures into five.
